I have nothing against styles, but I'm against
"But it's my STYLE to draw the pelvis like it's disjointed because my style is unique that way and I'm not trying to do realism because it's boring!!"
:iconwhutfaceplz:

I've been there, and I know it's not worth it.
Don't be ashamed to say "Yes, I didn't know how to make it look better, I have lot to learn" or "Oops, I see there IS a flaw I didn't notice" sometimes.

You are free to express your opinion in here of course.

Hahaha. Too funny! I haven't heard that excuse since college. True but kinda sad.
:iconnightmarehound:
I'm pretty happy that I haven't heard that in real life, just on the internet. Yup, like many things.

"I'm too lazy" or "I don't give a fuck" are both better excuses. At least those are honest.

Consider the daffodil. And while you’re doing that, I’ll be over here, looking through your stuff.
:iconnightmarehound:
Yeah, those I can cope with.
At least those excuses won't start flamewars.

oh god.

I HAVE heard this excuse used in real life.
:iconnightmarehound:
Urrrrh.

Fortunately I don't need to dabble in real life drawing things like school where people weren't ready to undertsand that that excuse doesn't work.

Just doing my duties here.
Spread it. Spread it like a disease.

The problem is that this excuse is used by people who don't know better than to do things incorrectly, and thus people who make legitimate stylistic distortions tend to get similarly pegged as lazy gits who don't know better, as well... case in point, I draw heavily distorted anatomy to achieve a deliberate effect, I can't count the number of times I've had people on my case because of it... rambleramble, in short: I agree.
